Nexus Resort Celebrates Earth Day 2010

Kota Kinabalu, April 2010 – Two commemorative King’s Palm trees have been planted by Mr. Ian Taylor Woodward, Group General Manager of Nexus Resort & Spa Karambunai and one of the resort’s guest from German, Mr. Kaltwang at the Borneo Garden of the resort to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Earth Day today.

“We are delighted that these trees have been planted at Nexus Resort’s garden to be part of the beautiful landscape here and enjoyed by the generations to come.” said Woodward. The tree planting project was attended by two of the resort’s guests, Mr. Kaltwang and Ms. Obergruber and the management team of Nexus Resort.

Earlier this year, Nexus Resort & Spa Karambunai was among 155 hotels that received the Asean Green Hotel Award 2010.
