Nexus Resort says "thank you" to guest

Nexus Resort recently treated more than 50 of its long-stay and return guests to a party at its Horizon Lounge.  The Hotel Management led by Group General Manager, Mr Peter Sprenger, were there to welcome their guests and to treat them to an evening of cocktails, wine and food.

The cocktail party was in appreciation of the outstanding support these guests have shown towards Nexus Resort. “Return and long-stay guests make up about 10% of the resort’s clientele and are an important asset to us. By choosing Nexus over an infinite choice of resorts around the world speaks volumes for the resort. The feedback from them has been very positive citing the warm and friendly service they’ve received as the reason for their many return visits,” says Mr Sprenger. “They were also very forthcoming with suggestions and ideas to attract even more return guests which is wonderful as they have now come to regard Nexus as their home away from home.”

Long-stay guests stay for more than 10 days at the resort. However, some have booked for much longer periods. First time visitors David and Gillian Ferdinando for example will be staying for 17 nights. Richard Purvis and his wife, Betty, are back for their 13th visit and will be staying for a few months. Mike Power and Diane have vacationed at the resort so many times that they have even purchased one of the soon-to-be completed Nexus Resort Residences, located just minutes away, with definite plans to settle down in Sabah. In the meantime, they are resident guests and continue to enjoy the excellent services of Nexus while waiting for their dream home to be completed.

Nexus Resort Karambunai has achieved many industry accolades including the prestigious award for Excellence in Hotel Services (3, 4 & 5 Star) at the Sabah Tourism Awards 2007.
