Nexus Resort Presents birthday cake to TYT at Istana

In conjunction with the birthday of TYT Tun Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Ahmadshah bin Abdullah, Nexus Resort Karambunai presented a fruit cake shaped like the map of Sabah at the Istana today. The 70kg cake was decorated with well-known landmarks and tourism icons of the state such as Mt. Kinabalu, the Tun Mustapha Tower, Rafflesia flower, the proboscis monkey, Tip of Borneo globe and lepa lepa.

It took the pastry team, led by Executive Pastry Chef Fachroedin Rahman, up to two weeks to complete the fruit cake and decoration made of edible chocolate. The Nexus Resort management was represented by Mr Albert Jan Vasseur (Executive Assistant Manager), Mr Michael Strobl (Director of F&B), Chef Volkmar Ertel (Executive Chef), Ms Debbie Ng (Sales Manager) and Pamela Fletcher (PR & Communications Manager).
