Nexus Resort Names New Senior Executive Sous Chef

Kota Kinabalu, May 2010 – Nexus Resort & Spa Karambunai is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Koh as Senior Executive Sous Chef to oversee its eight restaurants and bars, in-room dining and banqueting services.

Chef Koh brings more than 28 years of culinary experience in luxury hotels. Prior to joining Nexus Resort, he was the Regional Japanese Cuisine Trainer at Club Med Bali overseeing the Asia Pacific region including Maldives, Japan, Bali, Thailand, Tahiti, Australia, Mauritius and Malaysia. His culinary expertise is Japanese dishes fused with Australian, French, Thai and Korean influences as well as Asian and Mediterranean dishes.

Chef Koh has accumulated substantial international experience and expertise and will play an integral part in taking the resort’s F&B offerings to the next level.
