New Appointment at Nexus Resort Karambunai

Nexus Resort Karambunai is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Arun Pillai as its new Director of Spa effective November 2007.

Dr Arun comes with 6 years of experience in health and wellness sciences gained from top of the line international spa resorts with 5-star boutique spa facilities in India, Saudi Arabia and Kenya. Holding a Bachelor Degree in Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery from Kuvempu University, India, and a member of the British International Spa Association, London, UK (BISA), Dr Arun has accumulated extensive knowledge and experience in Ayurvedic, Oriental and European spa therapy. As Director of Spa of the award-wining Borneo Spa, he will be responsible for managing the day to day operations of the spa as well as introducing new holistic, innovative and high quality spa therapies to guests of the resort.

Ayurveda is an ancient system of health care which aims at achieving physical, mental, social and spiritual harmony. It also holds that the taste of foods or herbs has specific physiological effects. With Dr Arun’s expertise, we hope to bring the benefits of this life practice not only to resort guests but to members of the public as well.
